91原创 golfers Ryan LePrieur and Esther Cheon were winners at the 18th annual MJT Odlum Brown Classic held at Hazelmere Golf & Tennis Club in Surrey August 5-7.
LePrieur took the juvenile boys champion鈥檚 title after firing rounds of 69-75-75, while Cheon claimed her first MJT win of the season as girls 15鈥19 champion after firing rock-solid rounds of 74, 73, and 75, her seven birdies overall securing a two-stroke victory.
For LePrieur, 16, the win also means a direct exemption into the 2026 Junior Dubai Desert Classic.
With 11 birdies on the board, LePrieur said, 鈥淚t feels amazing to win this MJT Major. I played some good golf and kept my head in the game.鈥
Cheon, 16, also won Low Overall Girl honours.
A waitlisted field of over 100 athletes from two provinces, Florida, and China, competed in six divisions to determine qualification for the 27th annual MJT National Championship, presented by adidas Golf in Florida this November.
After 36 holes of play in challenging wet conditions, the field was cut, with only the top performers advancing to the final round of the 54-hole showdown.
Next Junior Tour stop in the province is the MJT Ford Series at Chilliwack Golf and Country Club in Chilliwack, taking place Sept. 27-28.
