For the second straight Wednesday night, the Aldergrove Kodiaks skated to a 4-4 tie in junior B Pacific Junior Hockey League action.
The Kodiaks were hosting the Mission City Outlaws at the Aldergrove Arena on Nov. 6.
And after a wild 40 minutes which saw each team score four times, neither could net the winner in the third period or overtime.
With the single point, the Kodiaks (10-4-0-2, 22 points) are three back of the first place Abbotsford Pilots in the Harold Brittain Conference.
The Outlaws (3-8-2-2, 10 points) sit fourth in the division.
Mission City had raced out to a 2-0 lead with goals from Bryce Pisiak and Cameron Bertsch, but the Kodiaks responded with three straight to close out the first period.
Kenny Prato, Elvis Jansons and Jonathan Philley scored in a 4:28 span.
The second period saw the Outlaws get goals from Eddie Lalonde and Bertsch while Joshua Cronin replied for the Kodiaks.
The goal gave Cronin a three-point night.
Both of Bertsch's goals came on the power play.
The Outlaws' Jeffrey Veitch earned first star honours, stopping 56 of the 60 shots he faced.
Jordan Liem made 27 saves for Aldergrove.
The Kodiaks are back in action on Nov. 9 when they visit the North Delta Devils at Sungod Arena.
