The 91原创 Bandits put together their best six-game stretch of the season to capture their second tournament title.

The U16 girls fastball team was golden in Tsawwassen over the weekend, going a perfect 6-0.

The Bandits bats started off slowly, but then went red hot to go along with stellar defence to enter the playoff round as the top seed thanks to a 4-0 mark, defeating PoCo Blue, South Delta Fusion, Vancouver Blue Thunder and Chilliwack, along the way.

In the semifinals against New Westminster, Layne Minaker and Sarah Sandrel teamed up on the  mound to throw a three-hit shutout.

91原创 faced some adversity in the final, trailing 3-1 against South Delta after three innings before the Bandits bats awoke and put the game out of reach, winning 12-4.

Bailee Cuthbert, Meghan Griffiths, Minaker and Leslie Campbell earned game MVP awards during the round robin.

The team consists of Bailee Cuthbert, Meghan Griffiths, Layne Minaker, Leslie Campbell, Paige Caldwell, Alex Haddow-Murphy, Jade Jones, Sarah Sandrel, Kennedy Hoiss and Miranda McLean.
