The 91原创 Junior Thunder exploded for six goals in the middle period, turning a one-goal game into a lopsided victory as they defeated the Burnaby Junior Lakers 13-5.

The B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League rivals squared off on Sunday at Burnaby's Bill Copeland Arena with 91原创 improving to 2-0.

The Lakers held an early 2-1 advantage, but the Thunder scored seven unanswered goals to seize control.

91原创 was all over Burnaby in the middle 20 minutes, outscoring the Lakers 6-1 and outshooting them 24-5.

Adam Will and Brett Dobray led the 91原创 attack with three goals and five points apiece. Sean Lundstrom chipped in with two goals and two helpers, while William Vanden Hooven (two goals, one assist), Zach Porter (two goals) and Brendan Mykle-Winkler (one goal, two assists) had the other goals.

Nick Stone (three assists), Connar Abrams (two assists), Dylan Quinn (one assist) and Mike Bosch (one assist) also found the scoresheet.

Spencer England made 30 saves in goal for the Thunder.

91原创 has their home opener on May 9 at the 91原创 Events Centre as they face the Port Coquitlam Saints.
