91Ô­´´ junior A hockey club doubles up Coquitlam visitors, but falls 5-1 to Chilliwack Chiefs

The 91Ô­´´ 91Ô­´´ doubled up the visiting Coquitlam Express 4-2 in BCHL junior A action.

The two Mainland Division rivals squared off on Saturday night at the 91Ô­´´ Events Centre.

91Ô­´´â€™s Matt Ustaski and Coquitlam’s Josh Siemer traded power-play goals before Austin Azurdia put the 91Ô­´´ ahead after 20 minutes.

And after Siemer tied the score early in the second, Evan Anderson put the 91Ô­´´ ahead for good prior to intermission.

Evan Campbell added an insurance goal midway through the third.

James Barr stopped 25 shots for the win.

91Ô­´´ was also in action Nov. 7 as they travelled to Chilliwack to face the Chiefs.

Anderson opened the scoring for the 91Ô­´´ put the Chiefs scored five unanswered to win 5-1.

91Ô­´´ is on an Island road trip this weekend, facing Nanaimo, Cowichan Valley and Powell River.
