A team of local wrestlers came away with seven medals 鈥� including a pair of gold 鈥� at their season-opening meet.
The meet was held at Surrey鈥檚 Queen Elizabeth Secondary on Saturday (Nov. 30).
The wrestlers compete as part of the 91原创 United Wrestling Club, which consists of students from 91原创 Secondary, Brookswood and D.W. Poppy.
Leading the way were Jamil Ingimundson and Pritpaul Johal, who each won gold in their respective divisions.
Tyler Tsoukalis, Josh Smallwood and Julian Waldron took silver in their weight classes.
And Caitlin Bartakovic and Kia Lockyer also found the podium, earning the bronze medals in their divisions.
