Mariners ground Eagles in quarter-finals

The top-seed Mariners eliminated the Eagles 3-0 and will play the No. 2 Brookswood Bobcats today (Thursday) for top spot in the Fraser Valleys at SSAP. Brookswod defeated Credo Christian 3-0 in the quarter-finals.

It will be a battle between No.1 and No. 2 in the Grade 8/9 girls' Fraser Valley soccer final.

The top-seed Earl Marriott Mariners face the second-seed Brookswood Bobcats on May 24 at South Surrey Athletic Park.

The Bobcats beat the Credo Christian Kodiaks 3-0 on May 22 in one of the semifinals.

The Kodiaks, seeded sixth, upset the No. 3 Archbishop Carney Stars 2-1 in penalty kicks in the quarter-finals.
