The Abbotsford Canucks hosted a spirited practice on Wednesday (Nov. 8) ahead of Thursday鈥檚 (Nov. 9) game against the Bakersfield Condors inside the Abbotsford Centre.
Players worked significantly on special teams and breakouts, and also notable was appearances by players Vasily Podkolzin, Tristen Nielsen, Chase Wouters and Aidan McDonough. All four players have been out with various injuries for the past few weeks.

Podkolzin and Nielsen were both hurt after suffering big hits in recent games. Nielsen has not played since Oct. 20, while Podkolzin has not suited up since Oct. 25. It鈥檚 believed that both players are dealing with concussions.
McDonough has not played since Oct. 31 and Wouters last played on Oct. 27. All four players were wearing coloured non-contact jerseys and did not participate in all the drills on Wednesday.
One player who has been hurt, but did participate in the full practice on Wednesday was forward Danila Klimovich. He last played on Oct. 14.

Goaltender Jack Campbell has been placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment.
Meanwhile, the Bakersfield Condors have received goalie Jack Campbell, who was put on waivers by the Edmonton Oilers and has been reassigned to the AHL.
There is the possibility that Campbell could play on Thursday or Saturday (Nov. 11) in Abbotsford. The 31-year-old has a record of 1-4, a goals against average of 4.50 and a save percentage of .873 in five appearances for the Oilers this season.
Abbotsford enters Thursday鈥檚 game at a record of 6-4-1-0, while the Condors are 4-2-0-0.
Both games occur at 7 p.m. inside the Abbotsford Centre.
