Volunteers are still needed for next month鈥檚 .

On July 22, more than 1,000 cyclists will find their way to the finish line of the major cycling event with the help of 400 community volunteers.

The race begins and ends at the Fort 91原创 Historic Site and takes riders through 91原创 and to Abbotsford and back again.

鈥淰olunteers bring so much to our event,鈥� said Jo-Ann Naughty, volunteer co-ordinator for the Canadian Velo Event Management Society, the presenters of the Prospera Valley GranFondo.

The GranFondo offers roles for every skill set, including registration, package pick-up, start and finish line hosting, event communications, aid station hosts and course marshals.
