It is a record-setting year for the 91原创 United Soccer Association.
The soccer club, which fields boys and girls teams from the youth to adult level, registered 2,064 players for the upcoming season, an all-time high for the association.
That number is also more than 400 higher than last season.
"We now have more than 1,150 boys and girls in our grassroots age groups of U5 to U10," noted LUSA president Betty Boucas.
"It's a real tribute to our quality of programming and our grassroots volunteer directors, coaches, team managers and parents that we've had such an expansion.
"This bodes well for the future of soccer in 91原创."
The breakdown of registered players is:
168 boys and girls in the U5 level; 194 in U6; 208 in U7; 223 in U8; 206 in U9; and 152 in U10.
