After the 91原创 Thunder scored twice in the third period to tie the score, Victoria's Cory Conway snapped home the winning goal in an 8-7 Shamrocks victory on Saturday night at Bear Mountain Arena.

The loss was the first on the season for the Thunder, who fell to 3-1, while Victoria is tied for the top record in the senior A Western Lacrosse Association with a record of 4-1.

The teams were tied at two after one period and traded goals to start the second. But Victoria seized control with three goals in a span of 1:18.

Shayne Jackson and Scott Johnson had a pair of goals apiece for the Thunder while Joel McCready and Tor Reinholdt had a goal and an assist each.

Alex Turner had the other 91原创 score.

Scott Ranger led the Shamrocks with a hat trick.

The Thunder look to return to the win column when they host the Burnaby Lakers on June 5 at the 91原创 Events Centre. Game time is 7:45 p.m.
