The 91原创 98 Xtreme are 4-for-4 when it comes to finding the podium.
The local fastball team added a silver medal to their collection 鈥� which already included a medal of each colour 鈥� at the Spring Sizzle U14B girls tournament hosted by Kelowna Minor Fastball over the weekend.
91原创 had won gold the prior weekend at a tournament in North Surrey.
The Xtreme dropped just a pair of games, both to the Ridge Meadows Rage 98, one of which came in the round robin, and the other in the championship final.
In the final, the Rage exploded for five runs in the fifth inning to turn a seesaw game into an 8-3 victory.
The 91原创 squad went 3-1 in the round robin.
In the opener, they were near perfection, allowing just a single hit in a 7-0 win over the Surrey Storm 99.
Game two saw them pound the Delta Sunfire 15-2, before the Rage edged the Xtreme 5-3.
Their final round robin game was a narrow 5-4 win over the host Kelowna Heat.
Seeded third for the playoff round, the Xtreme turned back the Delta Invaders 99 in the quarter-finals by a 12-7 score.
And in the semifinals, 91原创 battled back from a 5-1 deficit to win 6-5.
The team is made up of Allison Evens, Amy Dutton, Aliya Paroo, Arielle Kotanko, Hannah Ferguson, Sarah MacDonald, Aymee Schwandt, Angela Berdusco, Hayleigh Geisbrecht, Kennedy A. Jones, Chantelle Gouthro, Alexa Hladiuk, McKenna Nickel and Cassie Lumsden.
