Two members of the Trinity Western Spartans men's soccer team have been recognized for their outstanding seasons.

Midfielder Brayden Gant and striker Jarvis Ambaka were both named Canada West second team all-stars.

The all-stars were announced on Oct. 30, prior to the start of the Canada West Final Six tournament, which is being held at UBC.

This is the third year in a row Gant has been selected as a conference all-star as he was a first team all-star in 2012 and a second team all-star in 2011. He was also a Canadian Interuniversity Sport second team all-Canadian in 2102.

For Ambaka, this is the second straight year he has been named a Canada West second team all-star.

Gant played 770 minutes this year for TWU, starting all nine of the games he played and finishing with one goal and 14 shots. Ambaka started 11 of the 12 games he played and led the Spartans in points with two goals and three assists in 922 minutes of action.
