Part of the 91原创 Bypass and downtown 91原创 City went dark during rush hour on the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 7.
The lights went out for a number of businesses around 8:08 a.m.
According to BC Hydro鈥檚 outage map, the power failure affected up to 2,275 customers, with the extent of the power failure ranging from the Bypass in the north, down to Michaud Crescent in the south.
The cause was a bird contacting power lines, according to BC Hydro.
As of 9 a.m., crews were on their way to repair the problem.
