A video caught the moment when an RV, that was stalled on the railway tracks in 91原创, was smashed by an oncoming CN Rail train.
The crash happened at about 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, March 5, said Cpl. Craig Van Herk of the 91原创 RCMP.
The RV was heading south and came to a stop on the railway crossing in the 9900 block of 201st Street, near the Golden Ears Bridge in the industrial area of Walnut Grove.
The video of the collision, captured by JJ Kennard showed the front end of the RV was still on the tracks as a train approached, where it had broken down, said Van Herk.
A man emerged from the RV and waved at the train, then retreated. The train was unable to stop in time, and it knocked the entire RV off the tracks, tearing it to pieces and leaving debris scattered over a wide area.
鈥淭hankfully no one was injured,鈥 said Van Herk.
