Editor: I once resided in 91原创, and graduated from high school there. My Dad was a prominent member of the RCMP, Russell Ivens. He died in 1966.
He was involved in forming and travelling with the 91原创 Majorettes. My Mom Muriel Ivens recently passed away in Kamloops. Her funeral was held there on Nov. 15, and we stayed at the Thompson Hotel in Kamloops on Nov. 14 and 15.
On both nights, there were young male teenagers running, playing and misbehaving in the halls. I assume they were the 91原创 Hitman midget hockey team, as that bus was parked in the hotel parking lot, for all guests to see.
If it was these young men who represented your city, they should be accountable. Coaches, officials, parents and/or chaperones need to be aware of their responsibilities to instill pride in these young people who represent your city.
