Dear Editor,
With all of the rights and freedoms of Canadian citizenship being eroded by the 芒鈧揌arper Government,芒鈧 now they wish to have legislation in place to monitor anyone芒鈧劉s online activities, without the requirement of a warrant and without any oversight whatsoever.
That would make anyone with an internet connection vulnerable to the misuse and abuse of the new level of 芒鈧揼uilty until proven innocent芒鈧 laws in Canada.
The 芒鈧搚ou芒鈧劉re with us or with the pedophiles芒鈧 rhetoric is strictly from the American Republican playbook of dirty tricks, under fear mongering.
By pushing this legislation along with the new loosey-goosey definition of terrorist (someone who is mentally ill or who commits a hit-and-run), we are all at risk of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time and ending up on a government watch list.
When Mr. Harper was sworn in as Prime Minister he said, 芒鈧揧ou won芒鈧劉t recognize Canada when I芒鈧劉m through.芒鈧 He芒鈧劉s not done yet, and already, I don芒鈧劉t recognize it now.
I encourage Canadians to learn more about how we can work together to safeguard our privacy at OurPrivacy.ca.
