Editor: I am a senior, member and volunteer at the 91原创 Seniors Recreation and Resource Centre. I鈥檝e been involved for about 13 years.
I am a member of a small group of volunteer gardeners at the centre, and we take pride in our gardening endeavours.
I was so upset and amazed that someone has stolen the beautiful carnations we had planted on the roundabout less than two weeks ago.
Did they steal them for their own garden? We 鈥渟enior gardeners鈥� take pride in our gardens at the Seniors鈥� Centre, and I feel so sad, as I remember all our hard work.
We will replace these flowers with others, but hopefully they will survive and stay in place.
