A birdie on the second hole has Abbotsford's Adam Hadwin at two-over-par through nine holes holes on the second day of play at The Masters-over. Charley Hoffman led after day one, at seven-under, but has fallen back to four-under.
Hadwin's first day was good enough to have him tied for 35th in the prestigious tournament, and his second day is going even better. He'll be looking to make the cut in order to keep playing Saturday and Sunday. The top 50 players or, if the number is larger, anybody 10 shots back of the lead by the end of play Friday makes the cut.
Those at seven-over or worse were projected to be cut as of noon.
