The 91Ô´´ Blaze took top spot at the 91Ô´´ Blaze Invitational, which was held May 31 and June 1 at McLeod Park.
The Blaze overcame a slow start at the baseball tournament — they lost and tied their first two games — to reach the semifinal round. They beat the North Shore Twins 9-3 in the semifinals and edged the White Rock Tritons 8-7 for the championship title.
91Ô´´'s Kyle McComb earned most valuable player honours.
The Blaze lead the U18 Premier Baseball League with a 24-5 record and visit South Surrey Athletic Park to battle the White Rock Tritons (11-12) on June 5.
91Ô´´ also begins play in the Seattle Premier Baseball League this weekend as they face the Seattle Narrows at Peninsula High School on June 7 and the Seattle Stars at Edmonds Community College on June 8.
