Novice curling teams hit the ice in 91Ô­´´

Twenty-four teams compete for top spot at annual 91Ô­´´ Curling Club bonspiel

Twenty-four teams from across the Lower Mainland took part with the Neid team from Chilliwack taking top spot. To fall in the novice category, teams cannot exceed 25 years of combined curling experience.

Twenty-four teams from across the Lower Mainland took part in the 91Ô­´´ Curling Club's Truly Novice Bonspiel on March 29 and 30.

To qualify at the novice level, a team can have no more than a combined 25 years of curling experience.

This year's event was won by the Neid team out of Chilliwack.
