The Yellow Jackets — a men's 30+ hockey team made up of teachers and principals from 91Ô´´, Surrey and White Rock — won the Challenge Cup.

Four goals from Andrew Shook helped the Yellow Jackets capture the White Rock Challenge Cup.

The Yellow Jackets faced off against Sonitrol on March 9 at Centennial Arena in White Rock, prevailing 6-5.

It is the first time in seven years the Yellow Jackets — a team of teachers and principals from 91Ô´´, Surrey and White Rock — have won the Cup.

Three times the Yellow Jackets went ahead by a goal, but each time Sonitrol would tie things up. But Shook’s fourth of the night put the team ahead to stay.

Darien Russell picked up four assists in the victory while Rob Blair had a goal and two assists. James Blair also picked up a pair of helpers.

The Yellow Jackets play in the White Rock Senior Hockey League.
