Editor: I read with interest the letter to the editor (the Times, Nov. 23) by Mr. Wim Bromley, regarding Coun. Charlie Fox’s motion on 16th Avenue.
Aside from the sarcasm regarding Coun. Fox not representing ‘him’ in his council motion for lights and safety improvements on 16th Avenue, I question his motive.
Mr. Bromley lives five miles driving distance from 16th Avenue, and his letter demonstrates his lack of understanding of the safety of those who live adjacent to, on, or south of 16th.
Coun. Fox does represent our family, along with thousands of other residents of south 91Ô´´, who perilously access the driveways along 16th Avenue or cross the road on a daily basis.
If this is Mr. Bromley’s attempt to have a public rant regarding Coun. Fox, he has picked the wrong issue and needs to focus his energy in his own neighbourhood and the issues there.
L. Tarasoff,
