Many seniors in the 91原创 area are in the same boat as the author of that letter.
Paying our toll bill each month takes all the fun out of visiting friends and kids on the other side of the bridge.
The part that really hurts is I have to pay TransLink $214.49 on my property tax, and more taxes again on every gallon of gas I buy. If the 鈥榶es鈥 side wins in the transportation plebiscite, that鈥檚 more tax. Where will it all end?
What I want is a 91原创 resident seniors鈥 toll pass so I could visit a friend in the Royal Columbian Hospital or attend my grandson鈥檚 graduation.
Having Sunday dinner with my son would be much more enjoyable if it didn鈥檛 cost me money I don鈥檛 have to get there.
The Port Mann Bridge toll is forcing people in the Fraser Valley to change their lifestyle and that is wrong.
91原创 has become a cash cow for Metro Vancouver. I think it鈥檚 time to go.
